In the Solar Panel Fundamentals class, students will gain a foundational understanding of solar energy systems.
The course covers the basic principles of how solar panels work, including photovoltaic technology, energy conversion, and system components.
Participants will also learn about solar panel installation techniques, safety procedures, and system maintenance.
By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the essential knowledge and hands-on skills needed to begin a career in the solar energy industry or pursue further training in renewable energy technologies.
In the EV Charging Station Fundamentals class, students will learn the core concepts behind electric vehicle (EV) charging systems.
The course covers the different types of EV chargers, how they function, and the basic electrical principles involved. Students will explore site planning, installation requirements, safety standards, and maintenance practices.
The class also introduces relevant codes and regulations, as well as emerging trends in EV infrastructure. By the end of the course, participants will have a solid foundation to support careers in EV technology or further technical training.
In the Heat Pump Installation Fundamentals class, students will learn the essential principles and hands-on skills needed to install and maintain residential and light commercial heat pump systems.
The course covers how heat pumps work, system components, energy efficiency, and the differences between air-source and ground-source systems. Students will also be trained in proper installation techniques, safety protocols, basic troubleshooting, and compliance with industry codes.
By the end of the course, participants will be prepared for entry-level roles in HVAC and sustainable energy fields.
In the OSHA 10 & 30 Training courses, students will learn essential workplace safety and health practices based on OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards.
The OSHA 10-hour course is designed for entry-level workers and covers basic safety topics such as hazard recognition, personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency procedures.
The OSHA 30-hour course is more comprehensive, intended for supervisors or workers with safety responsibilities, and includes detailed instruction on workplace hazards, compliance regulations, and safety program implementation.
Upon completion, students will receive an official OSHA card, demonstrating their knowledge and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
In the GED Prep program, students will receive focused instruction to help them prepare for the General Educational Development (GED) test.
The course covers the four key subject areas of the exam: Reasoning Through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies. Students will strengthen their reading comprehension, writing, math, and critical thinking skills while gaining test-taking strategies and confidence.
The program is designed to support learners at all levels and help them successfully earn their high school equivalency diploma.
In the English as a New Language (ENL) Levels 1, 2, and 3 courses, students will develop their English language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Across all levels, students gain the confidence and practical language skills needed for employment, education, and community engagement.
